Aju Mbaise is an herbal cocktail that originates from Imo state, Nigeria. This herbal cockatail is made from dried Aju leaves and roots and is traditionally used by the Igbo women of Mbaise to detoxify and sanitize the womb, reduce belly fat and shrink the uterus back to its original size, post childbirth.

Sphenocentrum Jollynum, Cnestis ferruginea, Xylopia aethiopica, Uvaria chamae, Palisota hirsuta, Scleria sp., Napoleona sp., Dialium guineense, Combretum racemosun, Heterotis rotundifolia.
Boil a cup of water (300 mls) and one teabag together for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Drink at room temperature and drink on an empty stomach before breakfast, and after dinner. May refrigerate the same teabag and reuse at night after dinner. Do not add sugar or milk.
To make this tea more effective, add 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar or 1.2 tablespoon of lemon juice/honey. Avoif sugary and greasy foods while taking.
